Yep, take the 86 mph fastball down the plate, as well as the 2 strike slider on the corner.

The lefties were the two that got on, and that's cause they get a much better look at Harris.  I'm not trying to steal SSI's thunder....but with this guys slider, our righties are going to keep flying out trying to pull the outside pitch.

True but with this being this guys first start in the big leagues he could get unraveled easily with a walk and few hits.

Early in the count, his slider has been up. He's been throwing some very good ones when he's trying to K the guy. Both Dye and Crede had good ones to hit in that 2nd inning.

Absolutely. Hawk and McDowell would be a great duo. McDowell also has a much more energetic voice than DJ does.

Great job by Garland getting us in the dugout after we scored. It would be great to get some offensive contributions from the bottom of the order. Have they contributed anything during this home stretch?

Pierzynski was just wacking the hell out of Crede when he got back to the dugout...

Prior to that Crede homer, our 8-9 hitters on this homestand were 4-33 with no runs or RBI.

PK was all over that pitch. I'll be shocked if the Mariners put Harris back out on the mound, as he was hanging most everything he threw that inning. Top of the order for Garland here.
