Star-Making Series?

Featured Replies

I believe aaron rowand completely changed his reputation in the league after this series.

I'm willing to bet he gets the gold glove.

What an incredible series defensively. I think he deserves gold glove but doubt he gets it.

I doubt he gets it. Kotsay will probably end up with it. Maybe Jeremy Reed since we know how infatuated BBTN is with his defense.

Aaron was simply a god out there this week. Keep it up A-Row! :headbang

Reminds me of 2003, when Esteban Loaiza and Bartolo Colon established themselves in New York. Mark Buerhle should have in that series too.

Of course, neither E-Lo nor "Colon smells like Pennant" ended up with any postseason hardware.

that was the neal cotts experience visit.

Neal Cotts was a lot better in Yankee Stadium this year than 2003, I think. I hope that's not a controversial statement.

It was definitely good exposure. It'll help his chances.

:cheers to Aaron

Both Aaron and Kotsay deserve gold gloves, imo.

Aaron announced his presence with authority in this series. Pretty sad that it takes 3 awesome games vs the Spankee's to know.

They vote for three outfielders regardless as to position. All 3 could win.

Last year all 3 outfielders in the NL were centerfielders.

If you watched the highlights on MLB.com, the Yankee announcers fell in LOVE with Aaron during the course of the series!

It was a pleasure to listen too.

Rowand, Kotsay, Ichiro??

Is Torii dq'd for the injury? Outside of Hunter, the only other OFer that I see contending would be Vernon Wells.

Well, if I were voting I'd have trouble voting for a guy who was injured for 1/3 of the season, but that's just me.

Raffy Palmeiro played 28 games at 1B and won the GG. I could definatly see Hunter winning the GG this year.

Like I said in the game thread. The Yanks will be calling kenny in the off season to make him a Yankmee. :nono :nono :nono

I wouldn't doubt it.

Actually its funny, I just took a peek at the Yanks message board just to see their opinion on us and their all asking when is he a free agent and he would be a good pickup in the offseason. :nono

According to KW, Rowand is an untouchable.

LOL tell em Borchard is the next best thing and take a high level prospect from them.

BBTN just absolutely blew Rowand. He's gonna have to pry them off of his crotch with a crowbar.

Welcome to GG status, Aaron.

Harold Reynolds was bobben', is this the beginning of a love affair between Row and the national media? :o
