Can Hawk go one game without trying to say how great the Sox are compared to other teams? It's almost like he's trying to convince himself that this team is better than the Yanks or Red Sox.

As much as everyone dreads the A's....I'd much rather not have to face the Red Sox in the playoffs. We've shown no ability to slow their offense down, and their hitters seem awfully comfortable against our pitchers.

Garland is graduating with honors tonight in the El Duque and Count Pitching school. He goes 3-2 on every hitter. Buerhle and Garland have looked like crap against a possible and probable playoff opponent. Garland looks like he has no confidence tonight.
