I'm having a hard time right now sorting through all these rumors...So are they going to announce all of those fifty names that didn't exist this afternoon? Talk about a s***-storm.

 

The game of baseball will be better once all this goes down, if a number of big names get caught, new rules will be drawn up immediately. This is the best thing that can happen in the long run.

Remember that Alex Sanchez was one of the first players nailed this year.  Steroids don't always make you big.

I read on the mlb.com message board that livan hernandez and tejada were also going to be named this afternoon around 3ish are time....im hoping this is all a bunch of BS tho, this would f*** the game of baseball up badly

I dunno about that. Before, you're an athlete. Now, you're a rich athlete. I'd guess they'd get far more use than before.

Eckstein comes from a family with a history of a lot of medical problems. I will basically guarantee he's never done steroids. I think a lot of these rumors are coming from the same suggestion everyone is making that it's all-stars from the NL Central and AL East. And BTW, that J. Damon comment sounds like quite the alibi already.

Just asking here...don't you think that if these rumors were false (about Clemens and Damon, at least), that Selig and others from the front offices at MLB would be quick to shoot them down? Have we heard anything resembling a denial from MLB?

I'm guessing if it would come out it'd be around 5 or 6? The Raffy one was at 11 but so was the Oriole game. The first one was Sanchez which came around 5ish I believe
