I tell you what...we worked damn hard for those 2 runs...now Freddie can have a little bit of flexibility.  I'm vastly less nervous now.

Well, we know he'll be left in until he can't lift his arm anymore. Go get them Freddy.

I just have to preserve this line from Gameday...

Bottom 5TH B:2 S:0 O:2

With Tadahito Iguchi batting, Pablo Ozuna steals (13) home.

How many other teams have had a steal of home this year?

He's clearly saying he wants Pablo to keep some playing time at 3rd when Crede returns.

Sizemore had a more impressive steal when he went home on the pitch, and beat it rather easily. And when I say more impressively, I'm not downgrading Ozuna's effort.

is everybody at the park tonight?

Sizemore did it just the other week.

Yeah, I deleted it real quick once I figured it out. For a second, I thought Joe was a nickname for Marte!

17,701 is the paid attendance for tonight.

This is the Freddy we know who has no problem giving runs back after we score. He's been flirting with danger all game with these high offspeed pitches. He needs to make some good pitches here.

Not good...but hopefully this is the last game of this recent trend.

Just thinking that myself.

2-1, 2 outs with a man on 3rd.

You should never lose a job to injury, but Pablo should finish the year at 3b IMO, bring Joe in about the 8th inning. Pablo has made things happen when he is in the lineup, adds a spark Joe does not bring.

But you should lose it due to getting outperformed all year

Now the steal of home looms large...ground ball...2 outs...2-1 game.

Ends a 15 2/3 scoreless inning streak for Sox pitching.

f***

Damn it Freddy! He's had nothing all game, and it was just a matter of time before that happened. I'm sure Ozzie will leave him in for another two innings.

3-2. BLOODY HELL. That was one fast turnaround. Maybe we shouldn't have given Freddie those runs...he forgot how to pitch when the game wasn't tied.

Go back to work offense!

This is the first lead for the Royals this series.

Aw nuts...thank you ARow.

Another quality start! That'll work Freddy!

I don't think I've seen pitchers give up their leads as much as I have this year with the sox... :headshake

You hang that many curve balls in a major league game, and you're going to give up runs. I don't care if you're facing a team full of Christian Guzmans.

Come on Carl and Konerko...get something going this inning.
