While this season seems to hit road block after road block, the one thing that stays consistent is that soxtalk.com is a great place to come to and talk about our beloved team. I know everyone expresses their emotions for the team in a different way, but there's no better site for discussing what is going on with this team. I just wanted to thank everyone in charge with running this place, and my fellow Sox fans.

I know we all disagree, but I will say that even though we're in a really crappy stretch, we're all in this together, win, lose, or draw.

DRAW!

I agree! And even though (at Least) half of the people on the site think the sox are done they are still here supporting the team (i.e the 100+ page thread yesterday).

Thank god soxtalk is here for those worryers to vent or who knows what ledge they would be standing on right now.

:gosox2:

I can't wait to see how long the playoff game day threads get. Its about to get real exciting around here soon.

:gosoxretro:

To follow that up... 1727 posts in the game thread yesterday is by far the longest game thread ever.

The nice thing about this place is that even in the gloomiest thread, there's usually some fact or stat or idea that makes me think "hmmmm.....never looked at it that way......."

And I agree, THANKS to Jason and everyone else involved in making Soxtalk my #1 place to blab on the 'Net.

True, we are all in this together. Except for the trolls.

I might be new around these parts, but I'll definitely co-sign this post. :cheers to enjoying the rest of this storied season. I'd be lying if I didnt say that I came here before looking for optimism....... Its impossible for everyone to agree, but giving an outlet to voice an opinion and provide a sense of reality is always a good thing. Lets be honest, if panicing about wheter the Sox will take the division or not is our biggest problem, your not gonna hear a complaint out of me. Paranoia leads a fan towards Addison and Sheffield, tis a good thing we roll harder than that.

The only problem arose after the game when everyone piled on the site at once.....

Everyone feel free to put your trust in the Rally Crede.

If this fails, we can all blame Jason. (Like we wouldn't anyway.) :P

TO THE RALLY CREDE!!!! A BANDWAGON FOR THE REST OF US!!! :cheers

What's the big deal with the Rally Crede. I mean, come on.

I dunno, but I want to buy some of whatever Jason is smoking.

I'm gonna need you guys to hold me if we get swept

and not in a Ned Beatty Deliverance type of way, you sickos

I just appreciate that people here can say what they want, even if it's negative, about the team, and not get banned.

Just because you criticize doesn't mean you're not a hardcore Sox fan; if you didn't care you wouldn't bother.

And wow has this been a tough past two months to be a Sox fan. Up until the ASB everything was so giddy and can-you-believe-this? Even back then, you're waiting for the other shoe to drop but I did convince myself to enjoy it while it's happening.

I didn't think the shoe would drop quite so hard, so this is hard to watch. August was bad and I welcomed September but wow--this has been excrutiating. Not just the Sox' play, either (although I'm really let down by our starting pitchers), but just the sheer TIMING of it all. Just as we start swimming under .500 Cleveland goes on an UNBELIEVABLE tear.

If anybody had posted here last month that Cleveland would have to play .750 ball to catch up to us, everybody would have laughed. And that's just what they did. But the reality is this: IT AIN'T OVER YET.

I wish more people would get THIS.

We wouldn't get so pissed off if we were "Cub fans" or "bandwagoners" or whatever.

Some people process the bad times differently from others, but no one way of dealing with it is more "correct" than any other.

In my mind the point is, we're all Sox fans here ( except for the trolls, and f*** them in the ass with a machete anyway ), if we didn't give a s*** we wouldn't be wasting our time here.

Be you a "DARK CLOUD" or a "SUNSHINER", you're still a Sox fan, so HANG ON TIGHT and let's see how this all plays out.

GO SOX!!!!!!!!!

The owner here gets laid and has regular bowel movements. Could be why we're not quite so anal about threads.

Note to Ozzie: See the teamwork above.

The last five weeks have just been a test to see who's in and who's out.

folks who come to this board are in -- and will always be in.

And it will make October just that much more enjoyable when this team picks it up and moves forward again -- starting tonight.
