wehether he should or not it won't matter because he doesn't have 17 or more wins and a Starting Pitcher has never won the Cy Young with less than 17 wins. He will be in the same boat as Contreras. Both won't contend because of the lack of run-support.

that same reason was why Peavy didn't win it last year even though he led the Baseball with the best ERA. He only won 15 games last year.

He didnt do so good last start. I mean he went 7 inning gave up one run, but only had like 3 strikeout over the Royals.

 

Good start, but I feel he needed a real overhwleming 12-15 k performance to really help his cause
