It's like Christmas Eve!

I am so excited, I hope I can sleep tonight.

Tomorrow we all find out if we are getting that White Sox authentic jersey under the tree or if we get a pair of old red socks.

It will hit me sometime tomorrow afternoon. Especialy when looking at the scoreboards and seeing only a couple games. :gosox3:

it will hit me when i'm trying to park

It didn'thit me until I thought about playing hookie and then I realized the magnitude of tomorrow. This has been a strange year with being at school during a pennant race and this being a White Sox team that I've liked less than the last few years. I think that I will continue to come around on them if we can beat the hated Sawx and Yanks. I was disappointed with having to play boston but you can't win the world series by beating a couple of stiffs and the Padres. If we want to be the man, we gotta beat the man. Bring on the AL East teams and let's prove something

Not exactly like Christmas-- for me atleast.

Usually don't have to complete writing assignments and study for exams. Or attend classes which run from 3:30 to 4:45.

Other than that, I must admit I'm very nervous. I'll leave it at that rather than going into 'dark cloud' talk and diminishing the feeling of optimism around this website. Learned from the last week not to be outspoken about the supposed pitfalls of your club. :P

This first game is HUGE. Game 1 means so much more to us than Boston. Even if we were to win, not many pundits would panic with last years miraculous comeback still fresh. I doubt many Bostonians would sweat with a 0-2 deficit. However, if Boston wins tomorrow, we'll hear talk about a repeat of 2000. Pressure mounts; players press.

Christmas has nothing on tomorrow.

Right now i'm surprisingly calm, but the ride up from Champaign tomorrow will get the juices going i'm sure. When the alarm clock goes off tomorrow morning, for once i won't be thinking "damn it"

Can't wait, this is gonna be so awesome.

work?

Christmas comes every year and I usually know what to expect.

In 45 minutes I head to the train to take me back to chicago. :)

And I'm off, See you guys at the park :headbang

I haven't been this nervous since right before I lost my virginity.

Just PLEASE don't give me a lump of coal.......again........ :D

With this weather we are having, I keep thinking it is just midseason. I don't know when it will hit me that this is the post-season. In 2000, I had to keep ducking out of class to get scores and this time I get to ignore the phone and email while keeping track of the game.

This is soooooo true!

Plus, I usually get gifts on Christmas.

this IS going to be a GREAT day

All I could do all of yesterday was think about the series and today's game. It was pretty hard to write that paper for today, but it does kind of have that anticipation of Christmas Eve...

AHHHH the anticipation! Personal day today!
