Hey Bernie wouldn't sing root root root for the Cubbies at least. Great AB by Pods. Leadoff hitter at bat 101. I disagree about the ball carrying tonight, both balls were well struck. I also still think that while we might not ba at a disadvantage with the wind blowing out with our power, it is more to our advantage to have it low in for Jose. Roger is on the ropes.

Yes he did. He said champs instead of home team or ''cubbies'' though.

right qwerty, that's exactly what I was saying

Haha, Clemens has loser's limp.

Take your time Jose :rolly

At least he got the guy at 2nd

I'm not sure he would have turned that no matter what. Good that he got the 1.

Take your time Jose  :rolly

??? There was no one covering 2nd base and Everett would have likely beat out the DP regardless.

The sooner we get wandy ( wtf kinda name is that?) the better. We should be able to slap the s*** out of him.

Biggio is over aggressive

Works for me :D I'd pitch out on this nextpitch

Biggio singles and first and second one out.

uh oh

ugh

Contreras doesn't have nowhere near his good forkball right now. Hopefully he'll get better stuff as the game goes on.

Cmon Jose!!!

was thinking that would hang up at first. Oh well. I can live with bleeders and bloopers if they don't hit you hard. Can't do much about hits like that besides maybe a bit better location

Did you guys know Contreras warms up with a softball?

It's been inconsistent so far.

Hopefully he'll find the feel over the forker soon

yes. It helps him spread his fingers for his forkball.

Good play Jose.

Contreras is a shaky fielder, his play off the mound in inning one of game 5 notwithstanding

This guy went two years wihtout seeing his family and yet Ny'ers thought he had had no heart or toughness. BS

Berkman doubles 3-3.
