Pettitte looked damn good tonight - his pitches were really moving.

And I said earlier that Oswald is a "junkball" pitcher - to clarify - his style is a lot different then most pitchers, and we have trouble with those gusy usually.

It's a dogfight, and I expected it to be.

This is going to go long (the series), and IMO it's anyone's series.

BTW when did we get the cleveland indians drummer?  sounds good!  GO FREAKIN AL!  AL > NL

If that is the Indians drummer, that is awesome of him to come over. American League all the way!

Sizemore produces more in the leadoff spot than Podsednik does.  What is Podsednik possibly better at?  I don't have the stats on me but I will guarantee that Sizemore's VORP is much higher than Podsednik's.

He is a better leadoff hitter. Which is the most important thing consider thats what position they play. If you compared them at any other spot in the lineup, Sizemore would win.

However, they just so happen to play in the leadoff spot.

So why is Podsednik a better leadoff hitter than Sizemore?

I don't have a good feeling about the outcome of this at bat.

He gets on base more.

He steals more.

He gets on base more with nobody on. He is a catalyst.

Would i rather have him up with bases loaded? No. But thats not the spot he will be in most of the time.

bases juiced!

PK PK PK!

lol and physically it probably wasn't a good feeling about Dye. But I wasn't thinking that'd happen.

i think it hit the bat

PK : It's all you Baby!!

Come on PK> This is where you make your money. This is why you are here.

Hey, controversy... means it's time to capitalize guys. ;)

Time for Cardiac Arrest!!!

Holy crap, we got another huge break!

Can Paulie take advantage?

No pop ups PK! Put a good swing on the ball, and worry more about tying the game instead of putting the Sox up 2.
