The infield needs to play close enough here that if they can get to it, they can get Taveras out at 1b. A leadoff infield single would fuel the fire.

The good thing about facing it in the 8th is you get lesser hitters or pinch hitters later. I don't want to see Vizcaino-Jenks 2 though. At least not with a man on. Veterans are dangerous

Vizcaino is the perfect hitter to combat Bobby and I actually said that to someone at the game when he came up on Sunday. Vizcaino is just a slap hitter and with the way bobby throws that's a perfect guy to have up.
