November 28, 200520 yr Nothing like trading a category the Sox lack depth in(with that little depth the Sox do have being a playoff hero and arguably a Chicago legend) for a category the Sox have the most depth in. If anything, the Sox would trade Marte and a prospect or two for Pierre...but at this point, I'm not exactly sure what the Sox are looking at doing in centerfield.
November 28, 200520 yr We have no need to spend that kind of money on the need for speed. We have speedy OF options in our own system - at least one of Anderson, Owens and Young will likely be better than Pierre in the near future. And Owens, and possibly Anderson or Young, could hit in the 2-hole.

Crede needs to be traded if he doesn't fire Boras. I like sending Crede and marte to FLA for Pierre. I dont like it however, if Furcals Price tag is indeed 100M ( which I won't believe until I see it.) But, If we can sign Mueller and Trade for Pierre, I would do that. November 29, 200520 yr It looks nice (two of the best arms in th league make up your left IF), but Furcal is going to be way overpaid. Uribe is a great SS and doesn't need to be moved. It would be nice to find some room for a speedy player on this team, but Furcal is not the answer.
