Any updated news on Captain Kirk? And when will Deng finally be inserted into the starting lineup?

Baby Dwight had a terrible shooting night (4-18) against Duncan yesterday. He might have had a a double-double at halftime (10 points, 9 rebounds), but he stunk it up from the field something awful. I'd put Chandler on him. Got damn it, we need Antonio Davis back. I never thought that I'd say that....

Oh yeah, I forgot about the elbow he took from Nowitzki last night. Kinda suprising since they say he wears mouthguard.

Kirk should be out, but I wish Skiles would let BG start and just see what he can do. Against the Magic, you can sacrifice a little D for his O.

Does Dirk Nowitzki do this kind of thing often?  Knocking out teeth, dishing out concussions, etc.  I seem to recall hearing a few things, but this is just insane.

From what I have seen of him the last few years (kidna a lot since I watch the Kings a lot) he is a pretty dirty player and he gets an absolute s***load of calls by refs. it's quite sickening as a matter of fact. But European players and Latin American players are brought up to be very physical and tough. See: Vlade Divac, Manu Ginobili, Andres Nocioni, etc.

Here's the thing with his offense. When he is absolutely on fire you don't see the Bulls really pull out or extend leads. I think there is something to be said for that and I really don't think he's near the player some make him out to be (I am pretty sure you tend to feel similar as I do qwerty).

Actually when he is on fire he would win us games in the 4th quarter when we were down or when it was close.... he just hasnt really been on 2 much this season.... although he started off slow last year too and it seems like he is begining to get his touch back.

People seem to forgot he was 1-7 before the fourth quarter all the time last year. He is so f***ing inconsistent it's not even funny.

 

Edit... just heard hinrich is suppose to be back for the game against the lakers... when we retire pippens jersey.

No.... I dont forget that and Ilve always thought Deng the better player of the two all the time.... but to say when Gordon is on fire that we arent a better team is wrong and not true.

Well if Steve Francis doesn't play we're pretty much screwed. We need to get back to playing solid D, and Dwight needs to regain his shooting touch.

I wonder if Francis is going to try and get back at Nocioni like he promised last time they played.

BULLS WIN

I didnt get to see the game (f***ing finals) but it looks like Pargo played very very well. Nice win for the Bulls without Hinrich and with very little from Tyson.

Pargo, Deng and Songalia carried this team. Songaila played his best game of the year (albeit still nothing incredible). Basden looked great when he was in too. I'm really shocked we won this game.
