December 10, 200520 yr Overall, the ceremony was pretty cool. Pippen didn't seem to enthusiastic though. Barkley's comments were pretty funny. Got goosebumps watching the clips. #33 is in the banners for good.
December 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 08:08 PM) #33 is in the banners for good. Deservedly so.........
December 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 07:08 PM) Overall, the ceremony was pretty cool. Pippen didn't seem to enthusiastic though. Barkley's comments were pretty funny. Got goosebumps watching the clips. #33 is in the banners for good. We needed Rowand to show up for this game in a Pippen Jersey.
December 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 11:16 PM) We needed Rowand to show up for this game in a Pippen Jersey. That would have been so f***ing sweet.
December 10, 200520 yr Ha I just read this bout Kobe; Kobe Bryant is averaging more shots per game (28.6) than any player has for a full season since Wilt Chamberlain's 34.6 in the 1962-63 season. "I have to be assertive, and if the ball doesn't go in, it gives us a good rebounding opportunity," Bryant said. Because those rebounds are all important ya know.
December 10, 200520 yr Bulls are playing like s***. Any possible way we could get MJ and Pip to suit up so they don't ruin this night?
December 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 11:26 PM) Bulls are playing like s***. Any possible way we could get MJ and Pip to suit up so they don't ruin this night? Well, their only down by 1 point now...
December 10, 200520 yr Regardless of what happens tonight, this game REALLY shows how much we need Ben. We've done a great job not turning it over, and still are struggling to score. Without Ben's offensive firepower, we aren't the same.
December 10, 200520 yr Make up call on that goaltend. Regardless of what the homer announcers of ours say.
December 10, 200520 yr Author QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 09:33 PM) Regardless of what happens tonight, this game REALLY shows how much we need Ben. We've done a great job not turning it over, and still are struggling to score. Without Ben's offensive firepower, we aren't the same. We never need ben gordon... EVAR.
December 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 07:27 PM) Well, their only down by 1 point now... That tells you something about the Lakers as well.
December 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(qwerty @ Dec 10, 2005 -> 02:34 PM) We never need ben gordon... EVAR. Better then Dwight Howard remember.
December 10, 200520 yr And Tyson Chandler, 1 point and 2 boards, yeesh. C'mon, you know you want Tony Battie or Kelvin Cato.
December 10, 200520 yr Our offense looks horrible. Tonight's a game in which we really could use a Tim Thomas *ducks for cover*
December 10, 200520 yr Defense as a whole tonight has really sucked. And damn, the rim on the end the Lakers are going towards is REALLY tight, noticed it during the 1st half when the Bulls were shooting at it too.
December 10, 200520 yr QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 11:41 PM) BTW, did anyone catch Lovie Smith at the game? Yeah, I saw that. And the fact they extend their lead without Kobe is not good news for the Bulls.
December 10, 200520 yr That's cool the Pippen got his number retired, but I still think he was very lucky to be with Jordan, along with many other players. He would've been a good, solid player non the less, but who knows if he would've been Hall of Fame material without Jordan.
