Haha, I have to buy 0 books for classes this semester. Viva student teaching! On second thought I'd almost rather drop $600 on books and not have to wake up before dawn 5 days a week.

You should look at the used books on amazon.com in the future. I've found that their used books usually cost half of what they charge for used books at the campus bookstores.

I've found that their used books usually cost half of what they charge for used books at the campus bookstores. Or see if you can find international editions. Those bad boys are dirt cheap. But last semester I was able to buy two brand new books for dirt cheap on amazon and when I sold them back to my school, they actually paid me $5 more than I paid for 1 book and $2.50 more than i paid for another book. It was the 1st time I ever beat the school at anything. Of course they are still mega up on me for all those freaking books they refuse to buy back because new editions are out.

The other expensive ones I bought were made just for the university/workbooks, etc. So no real luck.

I do that all winter long. It's just now getting to the point where I actually see a little bit of sunlight while I'm driving home. I'm counting down the days til we set our clocks back an hour. I hate these days where we barely get 12 hours of sunlight...
January 16, 200620 yr Book total will be around $400 when all is said and done. Ouch. Ugh. How long until summer vacation?
