At least you finally admitted it.

Why don't you just agree to meet me downtown, bring $1,000.00 (your life savings), and lets do this already. I'm sick of your posturing and your lack of willingness to back up your claims.

You are losing all credibility when you try to slander me, and don't have the backbone to face me.

Steff has more balls than you and she's a woman (a hot one, so I hear!).

Clemens, Pettite? yes.

Going forward or the last 5 years?

A .936 OPS is pretty good..

Yes. He had one good post season, after a few horrid ones. He wasn't exactly Mr. Clutch with the Pirates.

This thread is fantastic and awful at the same time.

There are like 7 arguments going on, none of which make any sense.

And one Herman's Hermits reference, from out of nowhere.

And before you even start, I don't want to bet anyone about anything!!!

:lol:

LOL, Kid Gleason was cracking me up too. This thread is like a person with multiple personalities going at it.

BTW...Clemens, Pettitte and Peavy are in the NL!

Collect a penny for everytime you see "no one" spelt "noone" on the 'net, and within an hour you will be a rich man.

People have been trying to turn the Peter Noone reply into the new Spam, kind of.

Throwing exclamation points at the end of posts make you look smart!

Well the argument was that Mark was better than those guys, including some other Cy Young winners. Then it went to that Mark was better than them because they only had 1 or 2 good years. Then it was Mark is the better pitcher in the playoffs. Then it was ERA doesnt matter.

Wins and intangibles are all that matters.

QUOTE(Steve Bartman's my idol @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 01:29 PM)
Buehrle is better than ANY one of the above mentioned pitchers.

This was what was claimed, and this was the pitchers that were being spoken about.

The Pitchers I was comparing him to were Carpenter, Prior or Zambrano, Clemens (if he comes back) or Andy P, Jake Peavy, Pedro, Smoltz, Dontrelle, Halladay, Randy Johnson, Rich Harden or Barry Zito, Johan Santana.

How in the hell can you keep up with where the argument has gone? :lolhitting

QUOTE(Steve Bartman's my idol @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:47 AM)
The question was asked whether Buehrle was in the top 5-7 pitchers in the AL?

When someone said he was, then (professor) rock asked if he was better than Pettitte, Clemen, Peavy.

It's impossible to keep track of who is responding to what.

All right guys, as funny as this has been, it needs to stop. Its been the same people over and over again, and it is killing theads. Once it is funny... more than once it is become a pattern and must end now. I don't want to see you guys in an arguement again, please.
