Happy Fat Tuesday!

To all of the catholics in the house... What are you giving up for lent, and what are you binging on today?

Because of work, I haven't been to church since Christmas, and I know that is bad. Lent has snuckup on me. I never really give anything up. I thought about giving up meat as a whole and just eat fruits and vegetables, but I'd never make it.

I brought in 4 dozen paczki to pig out on with the people here at work. For lent this yr, I'm going to give up brussel sprouts. I'll suffer through and eat asparagus whenever I want brussel sprouts. Can't wait till Easter dinner for the ham and brussel sprouts.

Catholics don't have to be the only ones to give up something for Lent. But this Lutheran can't think of something, haha.

What do the Serbs do to celebrate the day? You need to add it to Wikipedia so I can Googlemonkey it next time. :D

Paczki's rock. My parents pick up like 100 each year, for their co-workers, and then bring the rest home. They're sooooo damn good.

I'm going to do my best to avoid eating chocolate for the next 40 days.

40 days plus sundays. That whole 40 day thing is a lie.

I am giving up caffeine in all known forms. I actually started on this 2 weeks ago.
