I made this film over this past week. I know that we would much rather forget about what happend because we have a world series championship to defend but I think its important to make light of such events even though it maybe something that we all might not want to talk about. I love Frank Thomas. I grew up watching him as the great power hitter in our lineup. I have so much respect for the Big Hurt that it hurts to even think about how he reacted from his departure. I know alot of players haven't left on the best of terms. But if you look at Ozzie, and Fisk they both left on bad terms and now things have now settled down. I believe in time that this mess will be forgotten and that there will be a statue of the greatest player to dawn a white sox uniform at comiskey park. I just don't understand why any of our former players can leave on good terms. I made this film to make a point. The song that was used in this film was performed for more political reasons (by the group called WAR) but I believe it fits the message I want to convey. I hope you all enjoy.

Great Vid... sucks to see that yellow and green jersey and the BIG HURT.

Great job. However Frank don't look good wearing another teams uniform. It breaks my heart to see it. At the beginning is how I like to remember the Big Hurt, at bat for the Sox.

my thoughts exactly. during the whole KW-Frank Thomas feud, I felt like I was back in 6th grade listening to my parents argue during the divorce. kind of the same thing, I just couldn't take sides.

Frank and Kenny never really were on the same page since Kenny took over in 2000. It began when Frank demanded a raise, KW refused and they haven't got along since. However, KW respected Frank's history and his accomplishments and decided to keep him aboard over the years. Its an ugly divorce. But we have to remember time heels. In about a year or 2 Frank will be back to get his statue and number retired, and Frank and Kenny will shake hands. I'm not going to bash Frank like the Cubs fans trashed Sammy.
