I know its only spring training but its nice to win once in a while.

What concerns me about the offense so far is the inability to string together consecutive hits. After about 15 games in spring training, you'd think the team be batting over .250. There's still time to get going before the season begins, and it would be nice to see it happen sooner than later.

Uh. we aren't a team that strings a lot of hits together. We hit HRs mainly to score and play small ball to get the other runs (walk or double, bunt, occasional base hit/sacfly). We don't have guys with high averages that string hits and play medium ball where we have 2 or 3 doubles in a row.

 

Does anybody have the pbp for that last hitting inning?

It was all Buehrle. His defense didn't help him out, but he allowed 2 homers.
