This kid is f***ING NASTY. Crazy ass delivery and he throws strikes and lets the batter put the ball in play. 90 MPH fastball.

HE GAWN!!! Inning over.

WTF? That is one extremely deceptive fastball. Looks like it's coming at you 93 or 94. VERY impressive inning by Logan.

I like him better than Marte already. He has my vote for 2nd lefty.

He's pokin fun at me.

I'm glad he pitched well and all, but it was against fellow minor leaguers. Guillen has to find opportunities to pitch against major league talent.

how can you tell its coming in at 93 or 94 from jsut watching on tv

Wow! Like Oz says...I don't give a crap where he pitched last year...he comes in and does the job...there should be a spot for him. That was impressive!

I said it looks like it. It doesn't look like your typical 90 mph fastball.

His deceptive delivery makes his fastball appear faster than it actually is. It's like Brian Fuentes' fastball.

I read in the Sun-Times that Logan can get up to 93 MPH with his fastball but he looks like he can hit 90 consistently.

So begins your ass whooping Howry. Keep talking smack about our club.

Joe Crede today -- HR, double, 2 singles, 4 RBI

Ugh. I was watching bball. Did Logan get the first out and then get pulled for Cotts?

Nope, Logan only went one inning. Cotts started this inning.

Doh, A.J. Burnett is already injured...

http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47719

Definitely not good. Burnett and Wood are exactly the same type of player--all potential, no results. People are impressed with their 'stuff,' yet overlook their injury prone deliveries.

lol, and he didn't even throw one pitch in the regular season. With AJ--like Wood--you have to automatically assume the worst.

ANDERSON WITH A BOMB TO RIGHT FIELD!!! 9-3 Sox.

Borchard with a nice single up the middle.

anderson nice game :D

FWIW, I believe this pitcher (Ardsma, or however you spell it) was the minor league prospect included with Williams in the trade for Hawkins. No doubt his fastball is good. Unfortunately, control isn't quite harnessed.

Could be another instance Sabean is f***ed over by another general manager during a trade. He'll be no Liriano, but perhaps a relief pitcher like Bosner.

I agree that he's faced mostly minor leaguers this spring.

But he's still facing hitters who are much better than what he saw in the Pioneer League in '05.

And I think we can all see what Ozzie & Coop like about him, independent of the results/box score.

He's got a shot.

Indeed, boone did a VERY nice job in his outting today

Yeah, Flash Tizzle is right. Ozzie needs to throw Logan up against some more starters.
