March 26, 200620 yr On my way home, I was listening to the score and they said we're going to be wearing 1906 jerseys as an alternate this year. -Logoless cap -white socks, no stirrups That's all the info they really said, I haven't seen this posted before.
March 26, 200620 yr looks pretty good. i don't like the logoless cap. i'd like to see the "sock in the infield diamond" put on the hat
March 26, 200620 yr I like it celebrating 100 years since that championship by wearing the old unis!!!
March 26, 200620 yr How about 1976 as a 30 year anniversary of the shorts: Edited March 26, 200620 yr by RME JICO
March 26, 200620 yr QUOTE(Harry&JimmyRocked @ Mar 26, 2006 -> 02:43 AM) looks pretty good. i don't like the logoless cap. i'd like to see the "sock in the infield diamond" put on the hat I agree but they want to be as authentic as possible by wearing what the 1906 Sox team wore. I remember the very 1st ever Interleague game between the Sox and Cubs the Sox wore their 1917 World Series replica uniform and the Cubs wore their 1908 World Champion road uni's. The Sox wore a logoless cap that day. It was a white hat with red and blue piping criss crossing but it had no logo. It looked like it was missing something. A few seasons later when the Sox wore the 1917 uniforms during Sunday home games they put the 1917 S-O-X logo on the hat.
March 26, 200620 yr Like the 1917 jerseys of a few years ago, the Sox will probably wear these on the sunday home games right. I just think that since they did it this way before, that they would do it like that again.

March 26, 200620 yr QUOTE(RME JICO @ Mar 26, 2006 -> 08:43 AM) How about 1976 as a 30 year anniversary of the shorts: I remember the shorts, they were hilarious, but not so great to slide in. That is also my all time favorite White Sox jersey. The collar and the lettering across the chest are sweet. Too bad that sucker will cost you around three bills nowadays.

March 27, 200619 yr the shorts would be the funniest thing ever. I think the players would boycott that game.

March 27, 200619 yr Hmmm.... seems like a littel rub in the face of the Cubs. "Hey, we beat your ass back in 1906. And guess what? We won again.. but you werent good enough to meet us there and kick your ass again!" I LIKE IT!
March 27, 200619 yr QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Mar 26, 2006 -> 05:29 PM) I believe that it was 2001. I want one of those 2001 hats that they wore with the jerseys.
March 27, 200619 yr I won't be picking one of these up. Ug-ly. The '59 jerseys rule. Too bad they're TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS!
