I said 8 a few weeks ago in my prediction thread post, and I'm sticking with that #.

Any more than 12 and I think were in trouble. Not saying its a bad thing for Mac do be out there, but it also means one of our starters went down for a period of time.

 

I do like the idea of Mac steping in for Garcia or Vaz here and there when guys need off...

i picked at least 10. I think he'll get his starts here and there, but also you have to think at least one starter goes down for a month or so. I'm looking at garcia or contreras.

Unless somebody is hurt, I can only see a few. He may also see some starts if we are involved in some doubleheaders.

He'll get between 5-10. He'll be replacing any starter that goes on the DL, and after all of last year's innings it would not be surprising if a couple needed down time.

The answer to the poll is obviously not enough

If the gets used as a pure reliever for even a couple more weeks he won't be stretched out enough to start. Unless one of the big 5 is hurt long term, they would bring up Haeger or somebody for a spot start. Ozzie doesn't abuse pitchers.

lets just say Bmac will have more wins than combine starts from wood and prior

between 7-10 starts.. I believe they will use him more in the 2nd half and give each guy in the rotation a little longer between starts, so all the arms can be ready for post season. A spot starter you may call it.
