Not just him, we've been mashing in the first inning lately.

Hopefully they rock him next inning for some early runs.

You could tell just in the first inning how much better righties pick up Affeldt than the lefties do. Today would be a nice day to get some production from the bottom of the order.

This ump seems to have a tight zone for Garland so far.

HE GAWN

Niceeeeeeeee 1-2-3

Keep pushing that ERA down Jon. Time for a CG shutout.

DeJesus hurt again?

BTW, Preston Wilson has now K'd in at least his last 6 at-bats.

It's too bad....Costa's swinging the bat a lot better right now than him.

Hot corner for Gooch and Joe.

Toronto is some kinda hot on offense. Put up 7 on the Big Unit so far tonight. THey aren't as hot as we are though, as we are now second in the league in runs scored.

Ha, I think Garland throws his first changeup of the game, and it's destroyed to the opposite field. Stick with the sinker Jon!

God damn it!

Quit f***ing around on the outer half for crying out loud

HR went 363ft.

LOL. I'm surprised he swung at that. Looked almost shoulder high way outside. Nice piece of hitting on the changeup left up and out.

DJ was rather angry in his analysis of Garland's approach now. Way to go DJ!

And he is 100% exactly right

Ouch... Mark Tehean homered... okay JG shut em down the rest of the way.

Widger keeps setting up outside

Whats his problem

Line shot base hit, 3rd hard hit ball of the inning.

Let's go Jon, 1 more out

I don't know what that pitch was that he just threw, but if it's his changeup, just keep it in the bag for right now. It was a 85 mph meatball down the plate.

Inning over.

LOL. Poor Juan.
