well here's a post that represents a healthy sample of cub-fan rhetoric:

"May I suggest that the Cubs simply don't show up tomorrow? The forfeit will go down at a 9-0 loss, but that's probably better than the blood bath that would happen if they actually played"

Obviously a lot of b****ing about hendry, dusty, pierre, and pratically every one on the team.

Auggie warming.

Yikes...I'd rather just put this in the hands of Politte and Cotts, and get it done as fast as possible.

Ah yes... the matador...

I'm sick of Rob Mackowiak's no defense in center, slap hitting ass getting playing time over BA.

Mackowiak is not a good CF, he should be used mostly for LF/RF subs, and so far this season, he's mostly been used in CF.

Either way, I expect Mark to start the inning so Ozzie can take him out for the crowd.

Another fine cub fan post:

"Eventually, after one of these butt whoopings, they are going to get sick of getting their butts kicked and do something about it....... like turn around and get kicked in the groin."

Unless, of course, Mark just coasts.

Keep him in!
