Angels lost a game that way last year to Oakland when Frankie Rodriguez missed a ball coming back from the pitcher and the runner on 3rd ran home to win the game.

Taubenheim didn't miss the ball though.

I like this pitcher.

Yes, I now do remember that.

Right, so its a different play, you are right.

Somewhat similar I guess.

Nobody seems to have caught the Major League 2 reference...

Nobody seems to have caught the Major League 2 reference...

Perhaps it has something to do with the suckiness of the movie?

Smashed.

Goddamnit Jon, keep the ball in the f***ing park.

When Lyle Overbay is hitting the ball that far off you, you know you suck.

Garland loves to diminish leads.

f***ing hell Garland is just BRUTAL to watch

Well you can cancel the post game show.

I think the Sox are going to need a few more runs.

Everything is an adventure in CF with Anderson on the bench.

Poor Garland.

I think the Sox are going to need a few more runs.

Maybe 6 more.

Way too many fly balls this inning. Get the damn ball down Jon.

Sinkerball pitchers are not supposed to be allowing this many flyballs.

He was fortunate in the first that Wells ball was a couple feet foul.

So when do we see Brian Tallet?

Sinkerball pitchers are not supposed to be allowing this many flyballs.

Yep... did you see Derek Lowe's last start? That's how a sinkerballer should pitch.

That one I'm 1/2 willing to forgive...when a guy sees 14 or 15 pitches from you, eventually he's going to elevate something, I don't care what you're throwing. But this inning JG's elevating the ball a lot more than in the 1st.

Well, after the solo shot that went pretty easily.
