White Sox @ Indians

If the playoffs were to start today, he'd in the bullpen.

I guess if you want to call that being the man, then he's the man.

I would put him out there for Game 1!

cmon lets get to that great indian pen :pray

Ozzie needs to stop bunting in front of the big boppers. No reason to try and play for one run with those guys coming up. Having Anderson bunt is one thing....but Iguchi shouldn't be bunting in the 3rd.

Hopefully you're not serious, for your sake.

Now you're either being REALLY sarcastic, or you are seriously messed up in the head. I'm not sure really.

He was in the bullpen last year during his breakout season. Now he's just batting practice. But he only gave up 3 homers and 5 runs in 6 innings last start. He's fine now.

When was he in the bullpen? Pretty sure he pitched a CG against the Angels? Yep, he did.

That was another meatball.

Pitch inside Mark.

1 out, but another one that went deep into RF.

I know I am, thanks! :)

I dont really care what you think, it does matter and it shows that Buehrle does indeed suck when facing Sabathia.. Stats show exactly that

Show me the stats that prove it. The only thing I see is a high ERA, which IS NOT AFFECTED AT ALL BY SABATHIA! Does Sabathia come up and pound in runs when Buehrle pitches? NOPE! You're wrong, I'm right. That's all there is to it.

Enough about Judy Garland, we have a task at hand here and we've gotta hold em and come back.

He got the W in his last start. That's all that matters. If the game was closer he would have definitely focused more and hit the corners. But when you are pitching with the lead, you let the other team hit. That is what he did and it worked out for him.

Garland knows how to pitch. He is a fierce competitor and I would want him out there for game 1 of the world series.

Bulls***, he got f***ing hammered, he wasn't trying to let the other team hit it. They were f***ing him up.

His turn was skipped. My mistake. He was the #4 starter in the Boston series, so he wasn't used, and then was skipped for Contreras and Buerhle against the Angels. Maybe Ozzie didn't want to use his best at the start.

The guy needs to look down and check for his stones half of the time.

Over Contreras? You have to be kidding me right?

Cmon, do you people actually think he's serious?

He is damn lucky we hit Oswalt or he would have taken a loss.

You have to be insane to think that a pitcher doesn't know who he is pitching against. When he faces Sabathia, he realizes that he has to pitch a very good game and it puts pressure on him. That pressure can effect the way he pitches.

A fierce competitor that can't go more than 6 innings. I know you're BSing now.

I just think he's trying to be an annoyance.

WHEN SABATHIA STARTS

0-4 2 no decisions and an era in the 7's

WHEN SABATHIA DOESNT START

7-4, his career ERA against them is 4.58 so whatever his era against Sabathia is taken out.. which I assume would be pretty damn good

Yes, his turn was skipped, but that is very normal. You need to go with your best pitchers in the early games. Garland was the 4th of 4 in the Postseason rotation.
