Ron Kittle

I was listening to the radio the other day, struggling with Farmer and Singleton to figure out if something GOOD just happened on the radio. I could hear the crowd cheering, so I figured that something BAD just happened to the SOX. I started thinking, who would inject some life into that booth, and remembered it being brought up previously that Kittle was/is available

Pass on the book whore.

:headshake

Only way I'd mess with it is if we can convince Pat Foley to jump on board. Otherwise, no thanks.

Kittle would be a great add

how about bringing Dave Wills home and moving Farmer back where he belongs -- the second chair.

Now that would be my ideal booth, at least with Rooney in St Louis.

I'd take Wills, but I don't know if he'd leave Tampa.....

i would love to have kittle, but singleton is signed for like 5 years, so it doesnt really matter i guess.

Every single time Ive met him, he has been overly Warm, Enthusiastic, and Very Friendly towards me and SOX fans in general. He is very Boisterous, Loud, and barrel of monkeys to be around. Stand next to the guy for 1 minute and you cant help but smile. He is also, and this parts important from a media standpoint, very Quick-Witted. Him growing up in northern Indiana as a life-long SOX fan only seals the deal with me.

By the way, ive met Chris Singleton, he was shopping over at Target, and is very friendly and outgoing to SOX fans. SOX fans do appreciate that

Singleton is a really nice guy and an unabashed Christian who during his days with the Sox had a card with his beliefs and few bible verses that he would hand out with his autograph when asked to sign.

I'll pass. The only playoff game we lost last year was when Ron Kittle replaced Bill Melton in Sox Pre-Game Live. 11-0 with Melton. 0-1 with Kittle.

Let me add a word of support for Barry Bonds as White Sox analyst. His future pairing with Ed Farmer will produce tremendous awkward and surly interactions, as these two jokesters vie to be RadioTopDog.

>>>>>Rooner/Farmer

I'm not joking.

Mario and Jason don't suck, and that's a ringing endorsement I thought I'd never give.
