A lot of guys tense up, and get homer/pull happy. That's common in all of baseball though.

In other words, Paulie gets a free pass because he's Paulie. Way to be objective. :rolly

There's no denying that this team's situational hitting woes go far beyond Anderson and Uribe.

Dreaded leadoff walk.

Tremendous AB by Widger. Ozzie should pr him with Pods, who could easily steal 2nd against this combo. Ozzie likes to save his catcher though, so I understand why he won't.

The dreaded leadoff walk before Uribe and Anderson. Dreaded more by the White Sox than by the other team, of course.

Come on Uribe, just get the sonofab**** to 2nd base. Somehow.

No pitch runner for Widge?

Why is Uribe bunting with Anderson on deck?

Would you rather he swing away?

Uribe actually lays down a good bunt.

Unfortunately, BA is up next.

Wait, here's Mack.

Mack on to pinch hit.

Uribe executed that bunt nicely.

That'll work...please lord BA do something useful with the lumber and get this run in

This might be the first time I've ever been yelled at for not ripping on a player.

Cmon Robo

I don't think it was wise to give this pitcher an out. He sucks mightily.

You want to put his suckiness up against Uribe's and see who wins out?

Yes

By your logic, it's OK to expect some guys to come through ALL of the time, but totally unrealistic to expect others to come through even once in a long while.

Bad pitching beats bad hitting anyday

I know that Ozzie doesn't like to get caught with no backup catcher but Pods should be standing on 2nd.

If Anderson had been into that situation and grounded into a DP, you would've gone nuts.

Mackowiak walks.

Helluva an AB...pick em up now Pablo

Yep...because I don't have a one game memory.

Come the f*** on Pablo...get that run home.

LOL. The announcer mentioned the hostile crowd. You can practically hear crickets as he said that.

I'd like to see someone with some speed on 2nd right now...and AJ replace Widge behind the plate.
