According to Baseball Almanac.com, the record for most runs in an inning in the AL is 17, by the 1953 Red Sox.

Way off. I guess I was thinking club record, but looks like that stands at 13.

We'll win 2-1 tomorrow.

A nice 20 spot would be fulfilling...

Methinks the Cards pitcher is going to be asked to take one for the team tonight.

Do they have slaughter rules in MLB?

What has happened to Mulder. He has been lit up like a christmas tree a lot this year.

He lost his velocity, and that makes all of his other pitches so much less effective. Why did he lose his velocity? He's thrown a lot of innings in his career, and maybe some of his health problems he's had are lingering.

Edit: He left his velocity in 2003

Javy has some incredible movement on his pitches tonight. almost too much.

I've seen him pitch since he was in high school, and his velocity never shot up when he went to the majors. I highly doubt he was into performance-enhancers.

Mulder seemed to not be going over 85 any game I seen him pitch this year.

We need to put up a 20 spot tonight. Set the tone for the series, if we havent already.

Gah...so close...does Ozuna use an infielders glove out there?

Wonder if Ozzie will use the rest of the bench tonight.

Anderson with a terrible jump on that play.

Wow, I go out to play some whiffleball and I come back to see an 11 run inning. DAMN IT!

Thats a pretty horrid read for BA there.

Couple of bloops in the 6th.
