How can a team that goes wire-to-wire 162 games in first place and 11-1 in the postseason not the best team in a season? GMAB the Steelers don't deserve it over us. They were a wild card 6 seed. Yes, they won the Super Bowl, but great teams usually have great seasons and postseasons, ie White Sox.

In all its time, the Espys have produced only one memorable moment; and that was for the lifetime achievement award to Bob Valvano who basically came from his deathbed to speak at the event.

The Sox should win either way you look at it. The 5th team ever to go wire-to-wire in 100+ years of Major League Baseball? That's a pretty damn good team. Everyone playing a large part in the team's success? That's a pretty damn good team.

June 28, 200619 yr For coach of the year, I voted Jim Larranaga from George Mason. What he did with that team was just too awesome. Sox are the best team though.
