Christ guys it's f***in baseball, sometimes s*** goes your way sometimes it doesn't...and yes our 3 4 5 hitters just douched us over but my god they're only human just relax and appreciate the monster numbers they have put up for us thus far, hell if not for JD that bases loaded nobody out bottom of the 7th would've been damn near meaningless...the starting pitching let us down once again along with the bullpen, it just isn't our day damnit :(

Quiet! Common sense and perspective don't belong here!

We're getting outplayed today. They've hit better, pitched better, and played better defense. I'd say they're the better team overall.

... and threre's a base hit.

What else is new?

How we managed to have the second best record in all of baseball is beyond me.

3 hits in 4 batters for Garland. Once again, thanks Ozzie!

He's not a releiver and you can thank Garcia for only going 5 innings and throwing 100 pitches.

The All-Star Break can't come soon enough for some of the people in this thread right now. I wonder what idiotic thing Ozzie will say next week though.

Well we CAN blame the offense, but you are right. THIS ENTIRE SEASON when the pitchers needed a good inning they've failed miserably. These guys can't get a third out without something bad happening.

Fixed that.

The best offense in the AL and the #4 pitching staff in the AL?

Why is everyone concerned about the pitching? Coop can fix 'em.

because as bad as our pitching has been, everyone elses has been worse..

Don't forget a closer who's blown one save.

.....didnt the drays jus take 3 of 4 from boston???

Meh, look what happens when we face good teams. So far we have been Boston's b****es.

Cooper's powers must have some limits. Cough Cough, Javier Vazquez.

you can only outslug opponents for soo long. our pitching just isn't the same as last year. whats the team era anyways? it must be near 5

this is pathetic. I think the Red Sox are waaayy better this year than last year and right now the Red Sox and Tigers are better than us. (Right now that is) Kenny can still improve the team and maybe our pitching can wake uP?

QUOTE(Misplaced_Sox @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 03:28 PM)
Uh last time I checked MAck f***ed up in CF once again and PODS and Cintron boobled balls that allowed people on base/or to advance

I wouldn't s*** all over Garcia because of the defensive wonders we field

Freddy was bad today. 100 pitches in 5 innings? Teams running wold on him every damn start.

He's a miracle worker. See: Garcia, Garland, Buehrle, Vazquez.

Yup, Tim. Double steal with Ortiz.

So I guess we'll find out which team gets it done with the bags loaded.

Ok ok, bases loaded and no outs for Boston. Who wants to bet they get at least 1 across?

Bases loaded, nobody out.

no point of even watching this game anymore........

I saw Cooper walk on water once. Right before that, Freddy Garcia shared his smoke with me.

Hey, I realize we have a good team. I'm just looking at the big picture. I do not like what I see as far as the playoffs are concerned. That is, of course, assuming that we get there.
