Both of them know that I can hit and field (made a web gem on Slavko's line drive.) I really enjoyed the time. Meeting fellow soxtalk posters is always a thrill and to know what you have basically in common, it's even better. I'm sure we are all tired as hell from playing baseball and soccer. We should definitely do this again, maybe with more posters here hopefully. BTW, Greg is a real daredevil. Didn't think he would climb the fence, or go in the sprinklers with me to cool off. Slavko is a real class act himself. He did suck in hitting today.. but he can pitch with that big 6+ foot frame of his. Both are cool brothas and hopefully we can do this again, or maybe go to a whitesox game in the near future.

Yeah, man, we've gotta go to a Sox game and do this again, too.

I'm glad you consider me a real daredevil. While I would consider it Silly Brave to climb that batting cage and walk across those ropes, I don't think that going into the sprinklers is daredevilish. ;)

WEB GEM!?!?!? You caught a line drive right at you and fell.

I didn not suck at hitting. I rocked you, then Greg came in throwing his junk at my ankles. I did hit a line drive off the bounce though.

And he did not go into the sprinklers....he gently carressed the water!

Remind me, Slav: what did I say, exactly, about gently caressing the water?

"Gregory Pratt didn't run through the sprinkler, Gregory Pratt gently caressed the water."

Glad we got to have some fun today.

I wish it wasn't so damn hot and humid though. And you were quite daredevilish when you walked on the batting cage net that was pretty much held up by red paper clips.

I don't think any of us -- save Gerry, who was basically the designated outfielder -- would've been THAT tired if it hadn't been for the consarned heat.

Truthfully, I didn't notice that the net was held up by those red paper clips. I just knew that it wouldn't hold up, but that a. I had to get my soccer ball, and b. who cares if I fall ten feet? It's ten freaking feet, and besides, there was a Grill for me to get on and climb back out of!

When I hit the ground, I looked around and saw one of those little red things, and I chuckled a little.

The shopping cart was the best part of the day. I had some jackass s*** with Greg on that Jewel's cart.

Don't forget the part where I lifted it up to my chest and slammed it back down because it was interfering with my goalkeeping.

That cart had a future dammit! Good times.. :)

Have we missed anything funny/interesting?

Well.. you guys know how much of a stud I am, and were gonna watch me spit my game, but you and Slav didn't want to be jealous so I eased off. ;)

:lolhitting :lolhitting :lolhitting

and soxtalk brings some more people together

First off, it's spelled "hustle" and 2nd, the shopping cart was a nice touch. I didn't think Greg would fall over though.

And Gerry, there was no game to spit, unless, of course, you like them pleasantly plump.

EDIT: Wow, I never noticed that the eyes move on the "wub" smiley!

First you correct my spelling error, then you hate on the plump chicks that Gerry has a soft spot for. I hate you, you're cold.

And I didn't fall over -- the cart did!

Hey... big girls need love too. ;)

We had a cow-wrangling competititon at school. My job was to watch and observe. It was Freshmen versus the Cows, and it was fun to watch, but I grew tired and wished that I could be in there wrangling bovine. I have a score to settle with those cows!

Came home and slept. Man, my body's been going out on me lately as soon as I get home from school and stuff. I think it's because I've felt so god damned bored, and a little lost of late. I wish it were September already, so I could restart school and have some direction in the day, instead of boring about. I can't quite put into words how I feel today, but I'm a mix of down and pissed. Actually, I'm tired, more like.

I woke up to watch a White Sox game that's got me furious, and those god damned Royals aren't helping. f*** that s***.

Car repairs, lunch, Target with roommate, nap, baseball, worked on some jokes and lesson planning/rules/class management stuff and lounged around.

Went to Weko Beach.

I'm tired as hell.

Today I went to go see the Fire play FC Dallas at Toyota Park. That stadium is really something. Not a bad seat in the house. It was hot and the sweat poured down my face like rain falling from the sky. And on top of the that the Fire blew the game by allowing two goals in a span of six minutes. After the game I jumped into the pool and cooled off. All in all it was a good day

On my day off of work, I...

Woke up at 1, played FIFA 2006, watched some of the Fire game, bought a new golf bag, played more FIFA, ate dinner, played more FIFA, and posted on Soxtalk. Now, I'm off to watch some ER.

Today, I woke up at 12:30, washed my sisters car, browsed the internet, worked on a Dontrelle Willis wallpaper, went shopping at Old Navy and Linens & Things with my mom and sisters, went out to eat at Applebee's, came home and cleaned my room a bit, and now I am posting here...

Watched Forty Year Old Virgin.

I could've sworn it'd suck, but it didn't! Not at all.
