Buehrle was bad (3 IP, 8 ER), there was some bad defense also, Politte finished us off. That's pretty much it. Offense didn't look great but it's difficult to focus when you're already down 8-0 after 3.

Jose's June Stats: 3 wins, 0 loses, 6.21 ERA, 6 Starts, 37.2 IP, 48 Hits, 27 Runs, 26 ER, 5 HR, 15 BB, 1/69 WHIP.

right because thats not a hole at all (this year). actually Rosenthal just piped up and said we need pitching. that just about covered all the holes in that five minutes.

 

They're leading the majors in runs scored -- no, offense generally isn't the problem with this team. Its exceptionally poor pitching, given the expectations for them this year.
