I know this. I was just pointing out that it's not like we could trade Javy and insert Brandon into the rotation in a couple days.

 

We piggy back him with someone else. He gets 4 innings, then some other reliever gets 2 and then to the back of the pen. Then his next start he goes 5, then 6 and then he is worth more than vazquez.

Well I don't get the rule entirely because Neal was responsible during Punto's at-bat.

Beuhrle already admitted a few days ago that once they give up the lead the team has a "here we go again" attitude. They no longer have the confidence in being able to come back from a defecit. It's very apparent to everyone.

So adding Soriano will spark Vazquez to stop spiffting his pants in the 6th inning? Will it spark Mark Buehrle to stop pitching like Sidney Ponson? Will it spark Freddy Garcia (although he pitched very well his last start) to start throwing hard and atleast attempting to hold base runners? Who would've thought that Jon Garland would be the one guy we can count on as far as the rotation goes at the moment.

So every team in the AL that matters will win tonight. Hooray.

Maybe it's because they've been equally as bad this year except Garcia appears to be toast with his unexplained drop in velocity. And who is everyone? Seems like there's an awful lot more people calling for Vazquez' head lately than Garcia.

sad thing is cotts was warming at the beginning of the 6th and ozzie still let javy pitch after the LO single
