I can't wait to hear this another 6 times this year when we face Santana/Liriano.

I have a very honest question, and it's not meant to bash Anderson......has his offense contributed to any wins this season since the first game of the year?

Lately, in pitching duels such as tonight we're always the club who gives up the lead.

 

Contreras can't lose his focus. It's obvious his offense won't help him much.

When was the last time we had 2 freakin hits in a row, much less 3. Feels like forever.

 

 

When we figure out that the home runs derby is over, and our line drive swings show back up, thats when we will start to string hits together.

I can think the game against Boston and the game against Detroit where having Anderson in the lineup may have stopped us from having a very large inning.

I didn't mean to imply he's currently losing focus. Just that he can't. Whether that's from a close pitched called against him or a soft hit escaping the defense.

You are. IIRC, it was Iguchi with a lead off single, and then Thome homered.

It would be nice if Jose gets on top of some of these pitches he is winging up there. He keeps dropping down and the ball is sailing.
