Santana is due for a bad outing. It's a good thing we're getting him tonight. Look for the Sox to jump all over him early and often. This one should be a laugher and hopefully by the end of the night when Soriano officially becomes a member of the White Sox there will be alot less whiners around here.

Is it just me, or are Poppy's predictions typically the most optimistic outcome that is humanly possible?

 

That being said, I'm hoping and praying that you are right, Poppy. Santana has to have a bad start every now and then, doesn't he?

Pablo isn't a bad move in left, especially when you consider Pod's numbers against Santana. Pablo is acutally batting .286 against Santana in 21 career AB's.

 

An argument could even be made for Alomar who is batting .250 against Santana, not bad when considering AJ is only batting .091 against him. I'm just curious to see how he handles Contreras and the rest of the pitching staff.
