Hence the reason why the Sox need to "turn things around."

That's great, it starts off in Boston, Sox and Sox,

19 Innings - Kenny Williams is not afraid.

Off to the allstar break, listen to Ozzie spin,

The Press serves its own needs, Ozzie serve your own needs.

Feed it off Ozzie speak,, grunt, no, strength,

The White Sox start to clatter with fear fight New York.

Wire in a fire, representing three games, a government for hire and a combat site.

Left of Queens and coming in a hurry with the Yankees breathing down your neck.

Team by team reporters baffled, trumped, tethered cropped.

Look at that low playing!

Fine, then.

Uh oh, overflow, population, New York food, but it'll do.

Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed dummy with the rapture and the revered and the right - right.

You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty psyched.

It's the end of the world as we know it.

It's the end of the world as we know it.

It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in Comerica.

Slash and burn, return, stumble back to Chicago.

Locking in, uniforming, book burning, blood letting.

Every motive escalate. Texas heat incinerate.

Light a candle, light a votive. Step down, step down.

Watch your heel crush, crushed. Uh-oh, this means no fear cavalier.

Jon Garland steer clear! A tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies.

Offer KW solutions, offer KW alternatives and he declines.

The other night I dreamt of Texas, Kevin Mench can't be stopped. Wild Card sit in a line

Brad Radke. Johan Santana. Carlos Silva and Joe Nathan.

Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom!

You symbiotic, patriotic, third place team, right? Right.

How many of these type of threads are we going to have? Starting a "Let's get going" thread after every series loss is not gonna magically spark this team.

I agree. Nicely done.

Lets Turn This Around Right Now. This post is about a Week Too Late. Nevertheless ....

heres what were going to do ASAP.

Vazquez. Will Only pitch 5 innings Unless:

A: SOX lead by 5 or more runs, in which case he can go another inning until he puts a man on.

Buerhrle. If MB gives up 4 or more runs before the 3rd inning, he will be promptly removed

so that the BP can keep us in the game and give us a chance to come back.

Weve LOST plenty of games already where Ozz has simply thrown the towel in, and brought out Politte or Riske to give the game further away. No More. We cant afford to do that.

No more softball offense. Manufacturing runs starts TODAY. Lead off single? bunt him to 2nd.

Leadoff Double? Bunt him to 3rd. Its that simple, til Offense kicks in again. Runners at 1st & 3rd?

Steal 2nd ASAP. Its that simple.

I promise, we will be in MORE GAMES if Ozzie can simply manage his 2 worst pitchers right now, bullpen be damned. Lets do this and see what happens

Man, I couldn't agree more. Every loss there's another "have you lost faith" or "we'll turn it around!" thread. Gimme a break. Tough it out, teams go through slumps all the time.

Hey buddy, you seem to be really taking these losses tough lately. Cheers man :drink

haha, yeah I got on your case a few days ago for being negative, but I think it was the next day...I lost it. I'm so pissed. I can't read the paper, I can't listen to the radio, I can't watch sports TV, I'm miserable! Ok, things could be worse--it's only baseball. But I've been a crab ass lately. I know things will get better, but these rough stretches are hard to handle for me. I can only stay positive for so long.

But at the same time, the "sunny skies" don't need to post these things after every freaking loss.

What happens when our bullpen is expended and we can't hold any leads later in the season?

Right now, our bullpen has a ton of talent in it, and it's still pitched the fewest innings in baseball. There's no reason our bullpen can't take on some degree of additional work. The oldest guy in our bullpen is 29 years old if I'm remembering correctly.

Then again neither will all of the fire/trade/sucks/seasonsover threads either, but that hasn't stopped them from popping up all over the place either.

You heard it here. The Sox will win 5 of the next 6 and the Twins WILL sweep the Tigers. By the end of this week the Sox AND Twins will be 4.5 games behind Detroit. And the 3-team race will BEGIN!
