Anything which prevents Ozzie from starting Mack in CF is a good thing.

An outfield of Mack/Anderson/Dye would be our best in terms of offense and defense.

Are you saying that Carl Everett could have never done that?

Carl walked 42 times last year...

...Jim Thome had 42 walks on June 1st.

Well done :cheers

Screw the pitching today, we had a big lead most of the time so that happens alot when you got the big lead. The hitters are hitting and that is VERY important right now with our pitching, get to go for a sweep tomorrow and have the wild card lead with the twins getting spanked in minny. its another great day and bobby should pick up another save. NO NEGETIVITY PLEASE

Some bad luck on that vicious rocket by Dye. It's ok though, we had two bloopers benefit us that inning.

Mackowiak is better in every single possible aspect right now.

He really is. Defense, arm, average, OBP, power. He can even swipe a few bases at a decent clip.

In a very similar situation against the Orioles this year, Jenks struggled against the hitters he's going to face this inning.

It would just be a question of Mack's ability to sustain if he were a starter. He should at least platoon with Pods in LF, though.

actually any negetivity on pods is fine, want to make that clear

I don't have a good feeling about this, prove me wrong Jenks. Prove me wrong.

Bobby without his good fastball so far.

I'll be shocked if he gets the first two guys out.

Grand, leadoff walk.

:(

If the Sox were to lose this, it would be their worst loss of the season.

did we really expect anything different?

fudge

Why is Iguchi covering 2nd base? That's so stupid. This is some terrible IQ baseball we're seeing.

Righty up

It's a 3 run game....MORA'S RUN DOESN'T MATTER!

I think already might be their worst win on the season, if there is such a thing.

0 and fishing 2 pitch

fishing hell, IS ANYTHING EVER EASY?

If we lose this I'm jumping out my window.

way to hold the runner bobby

c'mon bobby, nut up

Haha, Bobby going for the completion. Doesn't want to be the only pitcher to not give up a run!
