7/31 White Sox v. Royals

Featured Replies

I like the 3 runs, but that's about the 5th time this season where we hit into a double play in the first inning of a game in which we had the chance to really open it up. Hopefully Jose gets us back in the dugout with a 3 run lead, and we keep getting runners.

If Detroit can drop maybe 5 out of 10, we can pick up some games. Minny doesn't have the easiest series either.

New York and Boston need to start losing too.

2 games in a row no Thome, right?

nobody f***s with DeJesus

except Contreras who got him out

joe's going through a rough stretch, hopefully everyone can pick him up. AJ, on the other hand.... :headbang

Grudz extended his hitting streak with a single after Dejesus was retired. Royals are playing thin since they made quite a few trades today and the guys they got from the Rockies have not arrived.

Minny up 2-0 on Texas. They need to realize Carlos Silva sucks.

Walk and two on here.

I agree. We had a chance to REALLY open it up for Contreras, and hopefully for him, to pitch as long as possible, and give the BP a rest . Oh well, gotta shut em down here

Yippee! Give it back, give it back, give it back!!

lets go count.

Can any of our starters not allow at least 2 base runners every inning?

If that was Mack who got it on a hop we'd see 10 posts on how Brian would have caught it.

Nothing's easy these days is it

Worse thing..we get runs and we probably give em up. Bases juiced with 1 down.

It be nice to turn a timely DP. We did it so well last year, but this year we are the ones hitting into em.

Sox pitching simply hates leads.

Nah, that was as clean of a single as it gets.

Darn...a foot more and its in play for Gload and we'd have two down.

That sucks, gotta K him now

Nice try on that pitch.

This is deja vu of the Pirates game we lost.

BAH

Costa with a good AB (yeahh Fullerton, boo white sox). Pods fishing backs up on the ball. Real good Scotty

That seemed to hang up in the air while Pods slowly jogged towards it.
