Remember when a guy would be traded from the NL to the AL and his stats would start from 0...when did this change..I noticed Wilson officially gets credit for #14, but #1 in the AL

I remember that too. But it said that it was Abreu's 3rd stolen base this season earlier in the game. Even though he had 20 with the Phillies, so it doesn't sound like it's very consistant.

Guys let's just keep it civil and focus on the game here. :)

its hard to. SH1980 wont stop talking about cheerleaders

Score one please, Freddy will give up another solo shot, so we could use a run here at least.

Freddy's only at 75 pitches. Usually the Yanks are a lot more patient team than that. But there's no doubt he'll be back put for the 7th I'd say knowing Ozzie.

Who doesn't love cheerleaders? ;)

The McCaskeys

There's a walk. How about another hit Jermaine? Please?????

JD, be Mr. Clutch again.

Minnesota leads Detroit 4-2 in the 9th.

Good chance here with Jermaine up against a lefty. Let's get something going here.

4-2 Minny, 2 out, top of the 9th

Bad, at this point, I want the Tigers to sweep.

Rodney's imploding at this point. That ERA would almost be up around the 4.00 mark now.

I'd like to see Thornton start the 7th inning, but we know that won't happen.

Man, Dye's had some bad ABs the last few games.

Oh, that one hurts. Come on JD!

Isn't it amazing to see how the Yankees pulled Wang before this inning?

How many hangers can Villone throw this inning?

Dont worry, Guillen will pull Freddy too, after he has his customary chat before he gives up the lead in the 7th.

I'm sure his confidence is shot now.

I'd love to be wrong, but this inning has all the makings of the 2 runners allowed, pull the starter, and a decent start becomes a bad start.

Ozzieball 2006: Enjoy the ineptitude!

And thus it begins, the usual blow up inning.

Good job Ozzie.

Its the top of the 7th. Now he smart thing is to pull Freddy the first minute we see a sign of trouble. Ozzie however, believes in the lets have a chat with him.

Pen should be up right now with a man on.

And here we go. It's not like there's any urgency, as the Yankees don't have a good closer.

Has anyoen else realized that if Brian Anderson was in this game, Freddy Garcia could come out of the game right now and still have the chance to win it with a quality start?

LOL That was bad by the 1st base ump!!

Wow...big play! A big laughter came up at my house after that wipe-out.
