Okay offense... give Jon the support he deserves. Put a crooked # up here.

Inge homered...3-2 Tiggers over Twinkies in the bottom of the 7th.

That's why the Tigers have been so successful this year (besides good pitching)...their lower half of the order has really come through for them.

And they consistently beat the best pitchers in baseball.

nasty

I love when we make struggling pitchers look dominating.

Damon left with mild stiffness in his groin...according to Farmio.

Maybe he saw Scotty's wife in the stands.

This is not a good lineup we have to face him tonight.

Yeah. That is the one that mystifies me the most. They have owned both Johan and Liriano.

I always forget that Pete Rose played for anyone but the Reds.

SWING THE BAT!

Anyone feel like swinging? WTF

Someone get the memo out: Randy Johnson is not the 10-K-a-game pitcher he once was. He's actually pretty damn bad.

Phillies right? Didn't he get his record hit with them?

2nd half MVP of baseball gives the Twins a 4-3 lead with a homer off of Zumaya.

Oh for Christ sakes.....making Johnson look WAAAAY better than he is any more.

Give me a break. Half of Johnsons sliders are hanging and his fastball is as straight as Garcias. There's a reason he's posting the numbers he is this season.

I think he was also on the Expos?

He has been on FIRE. Morneau is a monster.

Maybe this will force KW to actually try and upgrade the 4th outfield position. Hell, I'd rather just throw Gload out there, and hope that he can provide some offense. None of the three can play any defense.

RJ's pitch count?

Yes he was. Just looked it up on Baseball Reference. :)

Randy's thrown 58

If he keeps this type of development up, him and Mauer are going to be an amazing 3-4 hitters for the next 10 years. Also, if you want to know why the Twins are rolling, look no farther than their 1-2 hitters right now. Those guys have been getting on base at tremendous rates lately.
