I thought the pitches were definitely strikes. They were high curves by Verlander, but they dropped over the plate in the strike zone.

I think that where they ended up in the glove was a strike, but I don't think they crossed the plate as strikes. Then again, as long as its called for both teams, I have no problem with it.

So far tonight, Contreras is only throwing 90-91 mph.
