The same one who shut us down the last time he faced us.

Lets hope it's that Hudson, and not the one who limited us to like 3 hits thru 6 innings a few weeks ago. I have a feeling they'll let Burgos try to close this one out.

It wasn't an inning, it was a third of an inning :P

He was actually pretty good though in most of his starts before that one.

If we take pitches, work the count, and hit line drives we will win this game.

If we go into the next inning, swing for the fences on the first pitch. It will be a 5 pitch inning, with 3 lazy flyouts.

Cotts in to give us no chance. He's clearly the worst pitcher on our roster right now, followed by Garcia and Vazquez.

Garcia is nowhere near as crappy as Vazquez....Garcia has no fastball left, but still manages to battle and win...Vazquez, with what we all agree is pretty good stuff, gets blown away by a glorified AAA team tonight.

How many WINS has Javy followed up with LOSSES this year? During our miserable 3-9 start in the 2nd half (or whatever it was), Javy followed up AT LEAST two Garland gems with meltdowns.

We should deal him as soon as possible...for any damn thing we can get. He stinks and he stinks bad.

Never know whats gonna happen in the 9th, but this is just an ugly game. Everybody had a bad game, hitters, pitcher, and coaches and when all 3 have bad games you aren't even going to beat KC. I'm just giong to assume we win the next 2 and things aren't going to be so bad on thursday night as they seem right now, otherwise your going to be to frustrated to live a peacful day till tomorrows game. So hopefully some of us fans can just let this one go and only be really pissed if we screw up tomorrow. Just let it go.

We haven't had one of these where everyone is just terrible since the long losing streak so hopefully we'll bounce back tomorrow and tonight will just be one of those ugly blips. If we could somehow come back in the 9th, that would be a huge lift.

Just remember these games, if we are within a game or so at the very end, when we face Santana and Radke while Detroit is facing Runnynose and company.

Nice Job Cotts on covering first.

excellent

Wow, that is just ugly.

Quick:

Who is better?

Cotts or Boone Logan?

Here's the scouting report on Cotts....fastball

Even when he gets jammed he gets a hit.

Cotts, next question. :P

I am surprised they havent worked on another pitch. He has a fastball, and a curve that doesnt break too much. He needs a cutter.

Great job by our bullpen tonight.

Alright Cotts, nice inning (for once). Either we rally or tonight takes the throne for worst game we've played this season. We haven't executed a single play properly all night (and no, the Pods sac fly doesn't count....it was on a 3-1 pitch and a walk would have loaded the bases for Iguchi with us down 2).

Horses*** effort by our defense, third base coach and our O tonight.

And don't forget Mr. 100

no doubt, and I'm not trying to sound like a hawkeroo, but s*** happens and today if we don't pull another 9th inning miracle is a s*** ass perfermance. But every team except the tigers pull these lately. Case in point boston

What a great sign. Cotts actually wasn't hit hard that inning...Cotts pitched a SCORELESS :cheers inning of relief. Neal Cotts did not set the entire MidWest on FIRE and the :snr is playing and its time to jack these turkeys up. :gosox3:

Need a baserunner.

This closer has a 87 mph fastball.

I can't beleive we've lost more games to KC than to Detroit.
