PK with another great AB right there.

Hawk is absolutely livid tonight. He's already had two sarcastic remarks about the quality of the ABs. PK's approach at the plate is absolutely awful right now.

Sure it sucks that Pablo Ozuna is the best leadoff hitter for a playoff caliber team. It sucks Thome is playing at about 60%. However, in this case, Ozzie has made the lineup putting us in probably the best position to win. That is your number 1 rule, right.... :)

I'm not blaming Ozzie for this lineup tonight. We've had our pants down around our ankles all season with the lineup we've fielded against lefties.

once again why do we pitch to his shovel swing?? you pitch him away hes going to hit it, you pitch him in, your going to break his bat.

Here we go again. Buehrle's throwing meatballs up to the plate, even though that was a nice swing by Teahen.

Buerhle looks real sharp. Not.

lovely 3-1

This game may get ugly in a hurry.

1-0 Kansas City, men on 1-3 1 out.

Man do we suck. Sweeney was obviously looking for the inside pitch there after fouling off 5 straight fastballs outside, so we give in to him.

looks like BP Buerhle is on the mound tonight.

Every pitch is right down the heart of the plate.

GIDP, Sox up.

$40-$45M for this rotation. That's the kind of money you pay pitchers to win games for you, not just keep it close for the offense. That's the problem.

Minimizes the damage I guess.

Well, I suppose it could have been worse.

Am I crazy for liking the Royals lineup more than the Sox tonight?

like i said yesterday, McCarthy + Haeger = 1/23rd the price for Vazquez + Garcia, and i bet you get the same if not better production.

Yeah, I think that's too far. But it would help if Paulie would get a hit.

nah, DeJesus is pretty awesome.

Let's see that enchanted bat, Brian.

anyone else think that Gload could've/could have a career like Mark Grace .300 + 15-20HR, solid defense at 1B?

Nice swing by our 3rd best hitter right now. Keep it going BA.

Meh, one run will not win this game. Go Sox.

Yeah but MB might give up 5 or 6.
