Sox vs. Indians...Anthony John Walkoff

That bunt was more like it. If Scott could just push it to the third baseman he'd have a fighting chance.

We need a blowout win tonight. We're gonna lose Sunday so we have to win today and Saturday!

As much as I like Crede I'm worried that we'll sign him long term and his back problems will continue to get worse.

Nice play by Paulie. He really is a stud.

Our catalyst continues to be such a bright spot though. 22 games and counting until Pods becomes a 4th outfielder on some crappy NL team.

I hope so.

Maybe he never recovered from last year, but how can someone with his speed not get more bunt hits?

Jesus, we need a Scott Skiles like "Run" quote...

At least he's not taking his crappy batting to the field.

I think the Indians are using aluminum bats tonight. Every ball sounds like a rocket coming off of the bat.

is it just me or does Scotty seem like he is playing with that "fire" he has been lacking the last few months. He looks like a completely different hitter. I think this bodes well for things to come.

The first truly optimistic post of the game. 1 for 40. Perhaps this bodes well for things to come. :headbang

He's lost about two steps. He's not even close to being a "burner" anymore. He also has a terrible baseball IQ, which doesn't really help him out. He has the physical abilities of a Frontier League player now.

Frank Thomas with a monster game tonight and it's still not over.

I'm very happy that he's having such a good year.

That about sums it up.

That's a disappointing AB by Thome leading off the inning. You'll get a good pitch to hit from Byrd...no reason to be overly aggressive.

YOu are right. Bad at bat by Jimmy.

Another crummy swing.

Not good, Paulie.

Keep pulling that outside pitch all month PK...you'll be back home in Arizona in no time.

Weird. Paulie pulled a low and away pitch. So unlike him as of late.

I hate games to watch when I dont respect the opposing pitcher.

It makes each out soooo frustrating.

You must have had a bad 2 week stretch then. We've been facing nothing but crap lately.

First 2 or 3 innings seem that way lately.

Anyone else tired of A.J.'s act?

Yeah, but I never heard of some of those Boston guys, plus the games mercifully weren't on TV

here.

This offense is absolutely awful now. I'll be absolutely, absolutely stunned if Garcia doesn't allow at least one run this inning.

Being John Malkovich on IFC right now. Great movie.

For as much credit as he received last year, he deserves a lot of criticism this year.

Is Hafner playing tonight? I missed it.

If he is ... BOMB, home run. Adios.

p.s. I love Sizemore. We must get him on our team.

Cleveland's GM wouldn't be that stupid...or would he?

Big time. I remember being blasted when I suggested he be dropped down in the lower 3rd of the lineup.
