The madness of ESPN putting crappy games on my television.

The worse part is they are freaking pathetic when it comes to broadcasting in High Def. Could they please start taking advantage of ESPN and ESPN2HD and start actually broadcasting all the games in high def (like CBS does).

 

It would be nice, afterall, Iowa/Indiana is on later this week and of course, no high def. In fact very few college bball games on ESPN are on in high def and its a joke (Watching the Iowa/Wisc game on CBS was so freaking awesome compared to the crap the so called leader in sports, ESPN, throws out). If you claim to be the best sports network, not only have the most sporting events on, but also make sure you do everything with high broadcast standards (good announcers, great picture, all that jazz).

I love the CBS Announcers, last years announcer during the Gonzaga/UCLA game was the best.

Jimmy Dykes is by far the worse announcer I've ever heard. The fact I had to listen to him do the Iowa/ISU game last year made me want to throw up. He is so gosh darn awful.

 

Luckily ESPN college crews that do big ten bball games typically consist of Aaron Andrews, Lavin & Musberger and ocassionally we'll get some of Majerus (although doesn't seem to be as much lately) and I am a big fan of all of them. Lavin because he absolutely cracks me up (he's a lot like DJ) and Majerus because of the X's and O's...Andrews well, that should be obvious (but she's also good at what she does)...and Musberger is a flat out pro.

 

Jimmy Dykes makes me think Rex Hudler is a great announcer (and I think most on this board know my feelings of the incompotent jackass known as the "wonder dog").

Yes...what is great is when him and Alford do a game together (which used to happen ocassionally IIRC).

ESPN sucks as usual..I could care less about Oden, Tucker is the real talent.

And ESPN2HD has had like one thing in high def since my cable company added it about a month ago.

According to the ESPN announcers at the OSU - Purdue game, Wisconsin no longer plays at OSU.

Well IU has played about as bad offensively as they can so far, yet we're hanging in there. Luckily the D is playing pretty well.

That and IU's defense is making them turn the ball over while every shot is contested.

Ill have you know when wisconsin's offense is doing bad its their fault.

 

And when Indiana's offense is doing bad its clearly Wisconsin's defense.

The road game at DePaul is going to be a toughie, even though I didn't list it. I know the DePaul season hasn't been 'ideal', but I still think they're capable of beating anyone in this conference if they play to their potential on any given night.

I also just noticed hes been whistled for only 7 fouls in 7 big ten games thus far. Take away the Michigan game, and its 4 fouls in 6.

Well the Badgers are going into half time and will see that Florida is losing.

 

In other words they could be the first Wisconsin team in history to ever hold a #1 ranking. Hopefully that will be enough motivation to get a win.

 

I cant see the game but imo Badgers need to go at White and try and get him his 3rd foul early. Judging from the people who have played for the Badgers (and who havent) it seems Indiana is going with a smaller line up so I expect that Wisconsin may tamper with landry guarding White for the remainder of the game.

 

The word of the day is preemption.
