April 12, 200719 yr QUOTE(Balance @ Apr 12, 2007 -> 02:52 PM) My TiVo answered my question for me. There are new episodes coming up tonight and (IIRC) next week. There are still about 8 or 9 left this season.
April 13, 200719 yr PARTY ALL THE TIME! Last night was pretty good. I like how the Laverne story lingered into this week's episode. A lot of shows would've been done and over with it last week.
April 26, 200718 yr Read that Keri Russell guest stars tonight. I used to have a crush on her back in the day. The final two episodes of the year will air back to back on the same night as well in May. Edited April 26, 200718 yr by Brian
April 27, 200718 yr Screw my VCR, it's automatic clock, and it's constantly screwing up. I left for work and it was fine. I come back and it didn't tape because the calendar jumped back two days. sharpiesscrubs.tk better come through fast!
April 27, 200718 yr It was ok... I disagree on Keri Russell's hotness. The show seems to jump around a lot lately... but one thing is for sure, I can't take much more of Elliot's incredible cleavage without seeing more! It's a joke people... but a serious one.
April 27, 200718 yr QUOTE(Balance @ Apr 27, 2007 -> 11:52 AM) Keri Russell is OK. Last night's episode was similarly OK. Yeah, this. I'm starting to think it's over, there was a nice 5 year run there though.
April 27, 200718 yr QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 27, 2007 -> 12:38 PM) Yeah, this. I'm starting to think it's over, there was a nice 5 year run there though. My wife feels the same way. Let's face it, it's very difficult to be consistently hilarious for that long. I'm not giving up on the show, but I think it has tailed off a bit.
April 27, 200718 yr I laughed out loud at Kelso running out after Turk introduced him. And yes, Elliot has great cleavage.

I find myself cringing a whole lot more than laughing now-a-days. I think the show has officially reached the designation of "flat-out stupid".

If you don't like it, that's cool--but don't remind us a billion times. I'm liking this season, and it's still my favorite show.
April 27, 200718 yr QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 27, 2007 -> 02:59 PM) Just do us a favor on this one though, please don't Simpsons it. If you don't like it, that's cool--but don't remind us a billion times. I'm liking this season, and it's still my favorite show. The only reason the Simpsons bother me so much is because they jumped the shark like 8 years ago and are just dragging it out at this point, it doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense to me. The sad thing is it's getting into Simpsons territory with the goofiness but I'll spare you any over the top b****ing especially since I don't think it's hit rock bottom yet. I don't really get how you could like some of these episodes after seeing the first 5 seasons though, it's turned into a completely different show. One more thing that's bothering me then I'll go away, when exactly is J.D. coming out of the closet? He's gotten so incredibly gay that I refuse to believe he's hetero. Atleast I have about 4 or 5 really solid episodes from this season to hang my hat on, that good comedy is still in there somewhere. And I've bitten my tongue the past few weeks because I don't want to get overly b****y about the show, I still have some hope that they can turn it around.
April 27, 200718 yr It's turned into slapstick where it used to be pretty damned funny comedy along with a decent amount of drama... the storylines are dead. however, no one can argue with the greatness of the first 5 seasons, and while this season is enjoyable, its definitely not on the level it used to be.
April 27, 200718 yr QUOTE(Dan @ Apr 27, 2007 -> 04:31 PM) Think JD has finally lost Elliot? I try not to read spoilers, but from what I've accidentally come across, don't expect Keith and Elliot to last much longer--despite the proposal that ended the last episode.
May 3, 200718 yr http://today.reuters.com/News/ArticleBlog....pFWBDGKr7OWgmEN Is the End of 'Scrubs' Drawing Near? POSTED: Wednesday, May 02, 2007 FROM BLOG: tv|jots - Because there's more on TV than just what everyone else is watching. By Chandra Williams. The following blog post is from an independent writer and is not connected with Reuters News. The opinions and views expressed herein are those of the author and are not endorsed by Reuters.com. NBC's Not Saying and Doesn't Care If You Believe It or Not A recent article in entertainment publication Variety points out the vague nature of TV promotional spots for the long-running NBC sitcom Scrubs. In them, the series is described as approaching “the final episodes,” with “just four episodes left.” Since the commercials don't clarify whether they refer only to the current sixth season or the entire series, some viewers may get the impression that the latter is true and the show is about to end. Is it? Well, cancellation's not an impossibility, despite reports that star Zach Braff has already nailed a contract for the seventh season, complete with a hefty paycheck in the well-to-do neighborhood of $350,000 per episode. In fact, that high salary may be one reason why the Peacock Network would prefer to let the sitcom fade into oblivion—its ratings, never spectacular, certainly don't justify such serious dough in the opinion of many industry insiders. According to NBC execs, a renewal decision will not be made until after they evaluate all of the other shows on the table for next season. Is that pretty much the equivalent of being treated like a wayward stepchild or what? As beloved as the series is by its squadron of fans, NBC clearly is not feeling an equal degree of love. For what it's worth, I hope the show survives in all its zany, wacky, quirky wonderfulness for at least one season more.
May 3, 200718 yr ABC is reportedly going to pick it up, if NBC doesn't. We'll find out in a couple of weeks.

NBC has screwed this show through it's entire run. You never see promos for it during other shows and they move the time slot around all the time. ABC will pick it up. P.S. I have to thank JD cuz I used a line to get a girl from the gym to go out with me. I was like, "You should go out with me sometime." And she asked, "Why?", and I replied, "Cuz it's the right thing to do." She laughed and agreed. High 5!

May 4, 200718 yr The cold shower premise was really solid. This was a pretty classic episode--with some solid laughs and a heart-tugger at the end.
