If Brooks (my school) beats Carver, we get to moce on and play Washington...yippee. But we're developing a rivalry with them. They're just way better...

Richards has a slight chance against Simeon in the regional final.

Warren

Go Deerfield

The fact that you went to Deerfield explains EVERYTHING. Seriously.

There is nobody that has a prayer against Simeon IMO, unless they just don't show up a la what they did at the Garden against Rice earlier this year. They are too damn good.

They lost to Farragut. While I agree Simeon is a big time favorite, you just never know. Especially on the last day when you play two games.

They also have the easiest sectional ever and could rest there guys plenty.

Like I said, Simeon is unbeatable ;). Rose was in foul trouble all game, and yet they still EASILY dispatched of St. Joseph's and their two Big 10 recruits by 14 points. Anyways, the quarters are Friday, and the semi's, 3rd place, and final game Saturday, so I figured I'd bump this.

I would be suprised if Loyola didn't get downstate.

Oops!! :P

Stevenson? Down state? Interesting. I kind of find that hard to believe but I've basically lost track of the athletes at that school after the 06 kids graduated(year after me). Well, Go Patriots!

Warren played sooooo bad. They expected to walk in and win without trying.

I hate Stevenson, always have and always will.

Evan Turner, going to Ohio State, is such a one on one player. He can score, no doubt, but needs work on other parts of his game.

Blah blah blah. Anyone on the team that stands out? I'm trying to think of some people that I could see being decent but I'm really drawing a blank besides one kid.

With the recruiting they've done, he might not even get minutes there. I was glad to see McCamey go 5 for 6 on three balls as well, he's going to get minutes next year and he's very talented, and it's good to see him improving on one of the weaker parts of his game (perimeter shooting).

How 'bout them Titans of Rockford Boylan!? :headbang I just had to give them some props since my Uncle is the head coach there.

Jong Lee is the main scorer. Can not leave him open. Stineman is a junior who has come on strong and really played well. Stevenson is a very good defensive squad. Held one of Warrens leading scorers to only 2 pts and they were free throws.

Did I mention I hate Stevenson?

Ya, I honestly completely forgot about Stineman. I've seen him play quite a bit when he was pretty young, he's pretty ridiculous. Never heard of that Lee kid but I talked to someone today who said he is quite the player as well.

I have to admit, I'm from Rockford but I hope they get their ass kicked. I graduated from a school in the same conference. Goers does a great job though, I think he's won like 15 straight regional titles.

 thanks...

O'Fallon and Stevenson, Marshall and Simeon in the semis later today. Simeon continues to look untouchable.

Simeon won in a blowout and Derrick Rose didn't make a FG. 0-7 from the field. Tim Flowers scored 35 and probably deserves as much credit as Rose for the team's success in the past 2 years.
