Ugh, he's getting down in the count to every hitter he faces.

You know, some of these pitches look awfully close.

Hawk was right last year when he said many umpires don't know how to call strikes for a knuckleballer.

I still find it hard to believe he can be a reliever you bring in with men on base, etc.

what a throw down to second.

Directly to the ground.......perfect.

aw he was safe

I really hope to see Gonzalez or Danks pitch. If we see neither today, they'll likely pitch tomorrow. Then we'll have to wait until Sunday, if then.

I'm just too damn impatient for that.

Danks, awesome.

Bob and Len called the cubs a good team today, and said Prior and Wood could turn them into a "great" team. Since when did they become a good team?

These two are easily the worst tv tandem in baseball.

I like Danks delivery, looks pretty solid.

jones looking really defensive against Danks - nice

Man... I'm no huge fan of Hawk and DJ, but these Cubs announcers are even worse. I haven't watched the Cubs on TV for a while, but it used to be a little more tolerable with Steve Stone in there.

Real quick delivery, he was doing a very nice job of jamming Jones high and inside with those fastballs. I gotta say the ball looks a lot harder coming out of his hand than 89-90 MPH.

cmon, get a little excited for Fields' diving stop.

who says his fielding is worse than Crede?

Nice play by fields....thought it was gonna go through no prob.

Great stab by Fields.

Several of Danks' fastballs have been hurt.

Damn Dank's stride is HUGE.

Fields has looked pretty good in the field this spring.

Exactly, and he seems to work pretty quickly like Mark B.

Gotta say it "He Gone"

Whoa, that was a major league change by Danks.

Danks is pretty good, I like this kid.

Terrible 0-2 fastball, right down the middle fouled straight back. Outstanding change to K him though.

Now, I have to admit that changeup was awesome.

I like what I saw from him the last inning though. Even with several of the fastballs which were tagged, he doesn't appear to pitch up in the zone or go deep in counts.

And it's quite obvious his stuff is superior to Buehrles.

Danks 16 pitches 14 strikes
