Too bad. He had the best debate line of any candidate in either party this cycle.

Refresh my memory.

Did you propose that?

yes. needs some "fine tuning"

PROOF Hillary's Rev. Wright comments were planned and prepared...

Hillary Clinton said she finally spoke out on the Rev. Jeremiah Wright controversy Tuesday because she was asked a direct question by the Pittsburgh Tribune Review and simply answered it. Clinton said if her pastor had said the things Wright said, she would have left the church.

But she doesn’t always answer a direct question. The day before, I had this exchange with Clinton when she visited the Philadelphia Daily News editorial board.

Interviewer: In your opinion, should Rev. Wright’s controversial remarks and Sen. Obama’s relationship with him, are those relevant to his fitness to serve as President?

Clinton: I think that’s up to voters to decide. I mean voters have to draw their own conclusions about that like we do about everything we do.

Interviewer: What do you think?

Clinton: I’m going to leave that up to voters.

So I went to the Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z concert earlier tonight, pretty much out of nowhere Jay-Z is doing his show and he shows a picture of Bush and says something (I forget what) then asks "are y'all ready for change?" and puts up a picture of Barack Obama behind him. Obviously the crowd cheered, pretty loud, louder than they did for Jay-Z even.

I just found that pretty funny.

She doesn't have the right to criticize her opponent?

Hillary has been using this argument that "well, they asked me and I was just answering. It's al innocent". However, she was asked several times over the past week and once again 12+ hours before she made her Rev. Wright comments. She cant use the "well they asked" defense because she WAS asked right before and didnt answer. It was a political move to bring it back up so she can tear him down.

U.S. Steps Up Unilateral Strikes in Pakista

But, i thought McCain and Bush said that Obama showed a lack of foreign policy knowledge for his proposal of fighting al-Qaeda in Pakistan's tribal areas. Well, seems like we are fighting al-Qaeda in Pakistan's tribal areas and it is working!

He really did step on his crank pretty bad when he said that. There were other ways he could've said that without sounding soft or scared. He isn't a terrible debater but debating isn't his strong suit.

That being said, you-know-who is the LAST person that needs to be criticizing someone on having overly aggressive foreign policy. It'd be one thing if he's distanced himself from his own mistakes and he's saying "this guy will make the same mistakes" but that's not what's happening.

I can't find his exact words, but, here is the paraphrasing by me...

"When I first arrived in the Senate hall, I looked around and said 'wow, how did I manage to get here?' Then after spending about a year in the Senate, I thought to myself, 'wow, how did these other people manage to get here?'"

Brilliant!

Great line by Obama in his speech today:

He picked up the tab for their breakfast meeting several months ago because he figured Bloomburg could pick up the tab at a more expensive steak meal later on. He said Bloomburg was a cheap date. Pretty funny moment.

You know I'm no Hillary fan, but that's just politics. Pure and simple.

Are Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Elton John breaking U.S. laws by allowing the British pop singer, a foreign national, to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for Mrs. Clinton's presidential campaign by performing a concert on her behalf?

Agreed. It comes with the territory, nobody is above it. Not even Obama.

It worked for them during the 96 re-election cycle...

Clinton just made a laughable comment. She said I give you specifics because you need to hold me accountable and restore trust in our president.

You mean trust in someone who continually lies about her experience on NAFTA, Ireland, and Bosnia? Someone who made up a lie about her daughter jogging near the twin towers on 9/11?

uh oh. Hillary's getting "soft and mushy" in her economy speech today.

McCain held a fundraising dinner in London a week or two ago.. Whether or not it's appropriate is anyone's guess, but I think that the law probably makes these events ok as long as they're not directly contributing the cash themselves.

ha ha ha!!

CNN and MSNBC carried the entire Obama economy speech live.... they both dumped Clinton's half way through!!
